SISWA PRAYER CENTER has grown to be a strong governmental local church. A dedication service was held in 1993 and the pioneering began with just 15 members. We have a current membership of over 600 families who gather regularly for worship and ministry of the Word. Services are conducted thrice on a Sunday to accommodate the large number of believers. The prayer center has been purposefully located in a slum area in order to uplift the quality of life of these downtrodden slum residents.
The Church leadership structure comprises of Pastors, Elders, Evangelists and Care Cell Leaders. Rev. Dr. .M. Prakash has the
responsibility of overall leadership and is assisted by fellow-pastors. Guest speakers from around the world come regularly and share the richness of their gifts with our believers.
Although we operate under very poor conditions the believers are given privileges and blessings that are not easily available in India. These include:
- Teaching the Word of God and Prayer
- Supporting General Social Needs
- Financial help for the education of children belonging to extremely poor families.
- Financial and organizational help to the very poor in cases of death and marriages.
- Transportation Services to the believers.
- Meals for approximately 100 people daily.
